Heaven sent so precious a gift
To lift my spirit when down
Comforting me in my sorrow
Beside me always you're found.

When my day has lost its gladness
And my world seems close to an end
Like an angel, always there for me
My moments in need, you spend.

You, the example of unconditional
Touching my life in a beautiful way
Always bringing out the best in me
With hearts beauty to me displayed.

I've never met anyone else like you
With such a loving heart so true
Beside, standing ever so faithful
Turning each grey cloud to blue.

I want so to tell you "Thank You"
For each bright day we spend
As you touch my life with beauty
What a blessing you are "My Friend".
