Our lives ever so destined to bind
When we crossed paths so long ago
How could I've ever known I'd find
Such love from friendship could grow.

Sharing laughter and all our dreams
With one another all along the way,
Finding strength each in the other
Through sorrows and come what may.

Your love surrounds me as though
It were shelter from every storm
Guarding from all whom dare to try
with intentions to reach out and harm.

Without words we exchange loving eyes
Never doubting the love for the other
One that will last a lifetime of days
That can never be measured by another.

I will always seek shelter in your arms
And unconditional love shall you receive
For this most precious gift that you give
As we share our lives, our love and dreams.
