WHAT A WONDERFUL SITE. I SEEM TO IDENTIFY WITH YOU ON MY EARLIER LIFE. NO ALCHOL, BUT A VERY ABUSIVE STEP-FATHER AND A MOTHER THAT SAID NOTHING.THIS WAS MOSTLY MENTAL ABUSE AND MOSTLY BY USING HIS MOUTH AND AUTHORITY OF LIVING IN "HIS" HOUSE. AS I HAVE GROWN OLDER, THESE MEMORIES SEEM TO BOTHER ME MORE AND MORE. I DID ALL THE HOUSEWORK AND TAKING CARE OF THE OTHER KIDS AND WAS NOT ALLOWED TO GET MY HOMEWORK UNTIL ALL OF THIS WAS DONE. SOMETIMES 9:00 AT NIGHT. IT BLESSED MY HEART WHEN ONE OF MY BROTHERS (HIS CHILD) SAID THAT ALL HE COULD REMEMBER WAS ME TAKING CARE OF THEM WHEN THEY WERE LITTLE. COOKING, CLEANING, IRONING I DIDN'T THINK THAT THEY REMEMBERED. I ALSO MARRIED A GOOD MAN, PRAY THAT I CAN FORGET AS I HAVE FORGIVEN. MY STEPFATHER SOME YEARS AGO HAS DIED AND DEPENDED ON ME FOR EVERYTHING BEFORE HE DIED. LOVE, PAT 21 December 2008
