Haven Of Love Tutorial

Many sites Do Not offer Webmaster Tools such as Front Page,
which causes many to get frustrated and most times just give
up on even the idea of creating a Web Site.
Below I will teach you the Basics of HTML.
It isn't as hard as you might think!

You may right click and save Background
To Your HardDrive if you need one for this Tutorial.
Image name is..lavender.jpg

[Step 1] Lets Open Notepad,
You can locate it by following this path..
Start/Programs/Accessories/Notepad

[Step 2] Type In This code
In a Blank Notepad.

The above Screen Shot shows you the basic structures of
an HTML Document html/head/title/body/and "p" indicate an html tag.

[Step 3] Saving Your HTML

Now we need to name our File, For this Tutorial
I have named mine "MyPage.html" You may name yours as you wish.

[Step 4] Locating Your html

Locate Your HTML and double Click on it to OPEN, The
image above is what you should see in your viewer window.
*NOTE* Image and html have to be in the same location on HardDrive*

[Step 5] Editing Your html

To EDIT your HTML.. Right click on html icon and
select Open with Notepad. Make adjustments to html
then save file..
FILE/SAVE at the top of your Notepad screen. Repeat
steps 2-4 and make changes to your HTML by adding an Image
Tag, HyperLink and/or different text using Bold, Underlined or Italic. *S*
